I heard on the way to work this morning it used to be that 10 percent of the housing market was purchased with cash. Today that number is 30 percent. If you happen to be sitting on a pile of money and you do not know what to do with it, we can help! Here’s the link: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129476836
Took a look at a great cabin yesterday in Valley of the Sun. We’ll have it listed very shortly for $252,500. It’s on the southern portion of Bobcat so it’s south facing and very pretty. Watch the storms come in over Sheep Mtn and Mount Sherman!
I encountered these locals when I was out looking at a property for a
client who is thinking about listing. They were making sure that I wasn’t tresspassing. I assured them that I was not and that I was there with permission from the land owner. Thankfully they didn’t run me into the creek, which this property has running through the western half. If you are looking for something with water. . . .we might be getting something nice.
I can’t believe it’s August! The season was slow to take off as we usually get very busy at the beginning of July and it was very slow early on. However things have dramatically improved over the last week and a half. We now have 12 vacant land parcels under contract and 8 homes since the beginning of the month so we’re off to a good start for the season! Someone just came in today saying they saw moose up in Valley of the Sun so if you’re looking to get out and take a drive, stop in for some maps and coffee and we’ll tell you where to go. (to see the moose that is!)
Great event in downtown Fairplay. “Get Your Ass up the Pass” as particpants run a gruelling 29 miles WITH A BURRO from Fairplay to the top of Mosquito Pass and back. The festivities start today with a parade tomorrow. Come and check out the fun!
Just put two properties under contract near Fairplay & Alma Colorado. Recent Buyers have been attracted to the scenic beauty and close proximity of public land in all directions. Did you know most of the areas in which we work have access to National Forest within the development? . . . and when I say development. . I’m not talking about curb and gutter subdivisions. These are great areas that happen to have platted properties within them and most are only 8-12% built out. They are rural properties that allow you privacy, views, and great access to peace and quiet, not to mention they are very affordable! Check out some of our listings, follow the directions on your own, or call one of us and set up a time to go out and check out some land. We would prefer looking at property over sitting in front of our computers. Come and let us show you around!
We would like yo to give us any feedback that you might have on these contractors. Thank you!!!
The Jefferson Real Estate, Inc. Team wants to help you in anyway that we can. That is why we supply these names and contact numbers. But we can not guarantee nor recommend any of the services listed.
